How to Design the Artwork?

You can use Corel draw, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and so on to design your artwork.

For a good printing layout, all the photos or pictures need to be 300dpi, all the lines have to be thicker than 0.076mm, the color profile have to be CMYK. Common printing could not achieve RGB color.

Full bleeding has to be considered when you design your artwork unless your print matters will have a white boarder on each side. Bleed is a printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet after trimming. The bleed is the part on the side of your document that gives the printer that small amount of space to move around paper and design inconsistencies. Commonly, the bleeding has to be 3mm or 1/8 inch beyond the cut line on each side.bleedinginstrustions

The artwork could be hi-res PDF (prefered), CDR, AI, INDD format, and for CDR, AI, INDD format, the text layer should be converted into outline as we may not have all the fonts you used. This effectively means that the text is no longer text - it has become a graphic, and the text cannot be altered. To convert text to outlines, go Select/Select All. It doesn't matter if other graphic elements are selected. Go Type/Create Outlines. The text will become outlined and can't be edited as text. Now, as you can see, the line beneath the text has gone. The text characters now have editable paths, or outlines, around them - they are no longer text, but vector graphics, and can be edited as such.
